These lamb burgers are a bright, flavor-packed spin on a classic, made to shine on the grill.

With citrusy zest, savory herbs, and our delicious ground lamb, they’re simple to make and the amazing flavor is hard to forget.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb Bravo Steaks ground lamb

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest

  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary

  • 1 tablespoon dried onion flakes

  • 1 egg

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb, garlic powder, cumin, salt, black pepper, lemon zest, rosemary, onion flakes, and egg. Mix gently until just combined.

  2. Form into three to four evenly sized patties.

  3. Preheat a grill to medium-high heat.

  4. Grill patties for about 4 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F for medium doneness.

  5. Let rest for a few minutes before serving. Serve with a fresh tomato slice and your favorite burger sides.

NOTES

Ground lamb cooks quickly; avoid overmixing and overcooking to keep the burgers tender.

If grilling isn’t an option, cook in a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat for similar results.

Patties can be formed ahead and refrigerated up to 24 hours before cooking.
